How it works
Bookkeeping work from New Hampshire
Each client engagement is a monthly routine of categorizing, reconciling and reporting, done in QuickBooks Online, Xero or whatever the client already uses. We are a young firm and take a limited number of contractors, so we do not promise a volume of work. We do not have an office in New Hampshire, and the work is done online. The larger cities in New Hampshire that our pages cover include Manchester, Nashua.
New Hampshire's economy leans on real estate and leasing, professional business services, manufacturing, government, health care and social services, and clients in those fields often need steady monthly books.
What you need
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online, Xero or similar software
- Comfort with monthly reconciliations and clear client communication
- A computer, a reliable internet connection and a private place to work
- Willingness to keep client information confidential
- A W-9 and a signed independent contractor agreement
- Familiarity with New Hampshire filings is a plus, not a requirement
What it pays
Pay and terms
Rates are discussed on a short call and confirmed in writing before you take on any client. We do not have a posted rate. This is independent contractor work with a 1099 at year end, and you choose what you accept.
This page is not legal advice. Honest note: we are a young company, and we keep the team small so the contractors who join early get the work as it grows.
FAQ
New Hampshire bookkeeper contractor questions
Do I need a certification?
No. Experience matters most. A QuickBooks ProAdvisor or similar credential is welcome but not required.

That depends on the client. Sales tax, payroll and annual filings for a New Hampshire business are confirmed with the client or their tax preparer, and we do not give tax or legal advice.
Is there work right now?
That depends on client demand, and we do not promise it.
What does it cost to join?
Nothing. We never charge to apply or to join.
