Bookkeeping work from Pennsylvania
Each client engagement is a monthly routine of categorizing, reconciling and reporting, done in QuickBooks Online, Xero or whatever the client already uses. We are a young firm and take a limited number of contractors, so we do not promise a volume of work. We do not have an office in Pennsylvania, and the work is done online. The larger cities in Pennsylvania that our pages cover include Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Allentown.
If you live near Philadelphia or elsewhere in Pennsylvania, you can work from home; biopharmaceuticals, health care, finance and insurance, logistics, retail, transportation and tourism are among the sectors in the state.
What you need
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online, Xero or similar software
- Comfort with monthly reconciliations and clear client communication
- A computer, a reliable internet connection and a private place to work
- Willingness to keep client information confidential
- A W-9 and a signed independent contractor agreement
- Familiarity with Pennsylvania filings is a plus, not a requirement
What it pays
Pay and terms
Rates are discussed on a short call and confirmed in writing before you take on any client. We do not have a posted rate. This is independent contractor work with a 1099 at year end, and you choose what you accept.
