Does your resume match the job?
Paste your resume and the job posting. We show which of the posting's key words your resume already has and which it never says.
How it works
How to use the results
- Paste both. Put your resume in the first box and the full posting in the second.
- Read the missing list. These are words and phrases the posting repeats that your resume never says. Repeated words are what the employer cares about most.
- Add only what is true. If you have done the work but used different words, rewrite the line using the posting's wording. If you have not done it, leave it out.
- Keep it natural. Work the words into real bullets about what you did and what happened. Do not paste a list of keywords at the bottom.
- Check again. Run it again after your changes, and use a fresh posting for each job you apply to.
The match percentage is simple counting, so use it as a guide and read the lists.
FAQ
About this check
Does this guarantee an interview?
No. Employers and their software score resumes in different ways. This shows the words a posting repeats, which many applicant tracking systems and recruiters look for.
Should I add every missing word?
No. Add a word only if it is true for you. Claiming a skill or tool you do not have will cost you in the interview.
Is my resume saved?
No. It is compared and discarded, and no AI is used. Nothing is stored.
How is the match score worked out?
We pick the words and phrases the posting repeats, then check how many of them appear in your resume. It is simple counting, so read the lists, not just the percentage.
