Founder notes
Notes from the founder
Short write-ups from Matthew Coleman on the work behind MCC Solutions.
Why these notes exist
MCC Solutions is a small firm in Cranford, New Jersey. Matthew Coleman runs it and does the work himself: bookkeeping and cleanup for small businesses, remote online and in-person notary work, websites and local search, and custom data and software projects. These notes are where he writes down what he learns on that work, in the first person and without the sales language.
Each note covers one project or one question, what he did, and what he would do again. If a note touches a service you are weighing, the links below go to the plain description of that service, including why clients choose a small firm.
