Who this is for
Title and escrow offices, law firms and solo attorneys, senior-care and assisted-living communities, banks and credit unions that do not offer notary service to non-customers, real estate offices, and anyone else whose clients regularly need a notarization they cannot get in-house.
What working with us looks like
- One contact. You call or email the desk. The person who answers is the person who arranges your appointment.
- Mobile or remote. We come to an office, a home or a facility in our service area, or handle a remote online notarization where it fits. See our notary services for what each involves.
- Prices before the appointment. New Jersey sets a cap on the fee for each notarial act. Any service or travel fee is shown separately and agreed before the appointment, so your client is never surprised.
- Clear limits. A notary cannot give legal advice, choose the type of notarization for a signer, or notarize without the signer present and properly identified. We will say so up front and send the client back to you or their attorney when a question is not ours to answer.
- A record of the act. Each notarization is entered in our journal as New Jersey's Notary Public Manual requires.
If you would like a personal link
Ask us for a link with your business name in it. It opens our booking page and lets us see which requests came from you, so we can thank you and keep your clients' requests in order. It is a tracking link, not a payment arrangement; any other arrangement is agreed in writing, and nothing is promised on this page.
What we ask of you
- Tell your client what to bring: a current, government-issued photo ID for each signer and the documents, unsigned, if the notary is to witness the signature.
- Send us the document type and the number of signers when you book, so we can quote accurately.
- Let us know about deadlines early. We will tell you plainly when a time is not possible.
This page describes how our notary desk works. It does not offer legal advice and it does not promise availability at any particular time. Rules and fees change; the State of New Jersey's current Notary Public Manual controls.
