Questions
Do I need a license to serve papers?
It depends on your state, and sometimes your county or city. Some places require a license, registration or court appointment, and some don't. You're responsible for holding whatever your area requires, and we ask about it when you apply.
Is this a job or contract work?
Independent contract work. You choose which assignments to accept, and the pay for each is shown before you accept it.
How much work is there?
It depends on demand in your area, and we can't promise volume. We're adding states and metro areas as clients ask for them, starting near New Jersey.
I'm a notary, not a process server. Can I apply?
Yes. Notaries and signing agents apply through the notary contractor page for their state.
