For law firms
The runner your firm doesn't have to hire
eCourts handles most filings now. What's left is the legwork that still needs a person: the Surrogate, the county clerk, files that aren't online, papers to serve, and a signer who needs a notary today. Send it to us and get one invoice a month.
What we handle
- Surrogate and county clerk: probate papers walked in, short certificates picked up, deeds and mortgages recorded or copied, certified where you need it
- Files that aren't on eCourts: older and archived court files, judgments and dockets pulled and scanned
- Process serving: summons, complaints and subpoenas served by a competent adult with no interest in the case, with an affidavit of service
- Paper the court still wants: courtesy copies delivered where a judge requires them, and filings for self-represented clients you're assisting
- Notary and witnesses: at your office, the client's home or a hospital, or online by video
How billing works
Each job gets its own tracking page with the proof attached: the stamped copy, the recorded document, the affidavit of service. Court, recording and copy fees are passed through at cost. Your firm gets one invoice a month listing every job and matter, so it drops straight into client billing. Set prices where we have them; a written quote where we don't.
Where we work
All 21 New Jersey counties. Courthouses and filing details by county · Process serving · Records retrieval
Questions
Do you give legal advice or prepare pleadings?
No. We're not a law firm. We file, serve, record, retrieve and notarize documents your office prepares.
Can you file on eCourts for us?
No. Attorneys file on eCourts themselves. We handle what still needs a person: the Surrogate, the county clerk, records that aren't online, service and courtesy copies.
How fast is service?
We attempt service on the schedule you set, report each attempt, and send the affidavit of service when it's done.
How do you bill?
One monthly invoice per firm, itemized by job and matter, with court and recording fees passed through at cost.
