Who it is for

Small and mid-size 501(c)(3) organizations: executive directors, development staff, volunteer coordinators and board members who write for donors and funders.

Not the right fit if

Not a donor database or grant-writing service, and it does not replace your accountant's review of receipts and filings.

Why it is different

  • Thank-you and in-kind letters include the items the IRS lists for written acknowledgments, and never state a value for donated goods.
  • Event receipts carry the IRS quid pro quo statement for payments over $75, with your good faith estimate.
  • Newsletter and advocacy drafts flag anything that could read as supporting or opposing a candidate.

What is inside

  • Every workflow in this kit. Donor thank-you letter with the IRS acknowledgment lines; Event ticket receipt with the quid pro quo disclosure; Year-end appeal letter from your own numbers; Grant progress report narrative; Letter of inquiry to a foundation; Volunteer role description and recruitment post; Volunteer shift reminder and thank-you; Impact story with a consent check; Monthly newsletter; Issue update or action alert with a nonpartisan check; Board meeting summary and action items; In-kind gift acknowledgment; Lapsed donor re-engagement note; Sponsor recognition post.
  • Start with these three. Donor thank-you letter with the IRS acknowledgment lines: Writes a warm thank-you that also carries the facts the IRS lists for a written acknowledgment of a gift of $250 or more, so one letter does both jobs. Event ticket receipt with the quid pro quo disclosure: Writes the receipt or confirmation for a gala, dinner or auction ticket with the disclosure the IRS requires when a payment over $75 is partly a gift and partly for something of value. Year-end appeal letter from your own numbers: Drafts an appeal letter and email around one real story and your program numbers, with a clear ask and no inflated claims.
  • Also included. A development-office card covering the IRS acknowledgment and quid pro quo rules and the ban on campaign intervention, a 30-day plan starting with thank-yous, event receipts and the year-end appeal, and an Excel tracker of hours saved per month.

Questions

Common questions

What do I get and how is it delivered?

The AI Workflow Kit for Nonprofits comes as a zip with four documents, each as an editable Word file and a printable PDF: Start Here, Workflow Book, AI Safety Rules Card, and 30 Day Rollout Plan, plus an Excel workbook (Time Saved Tracker). The download link arrives by email after payment.

Will it open on a Mac, Google Sheets or my phone?

The PDFs open in any PDF reader, and the Word files edit in Word, Google Docs or LibreOffice. The workbook is built for Excel and tested in LibreOffice; it should open in Google Sheets, but not every feature is tested there. If a file will not open or something looks wrong, reply to your order email and we will make it right.
