Who it is for

Landlords and tenants with an eviction case filed or coming, who want their papers, payment history and court dates in one place. Not a court form; it points to the court's own forms.

Not the right fit if

Not a court form or legal advice, and it does not file anything for you; use your court's official forms. Oklahoma and Tennessee timelines are not confirmed in the kit.

Why it is different

  • Built for either side of a case, in neutral language, and points to the court's own forms instead of replacing them.
  • The workbook's dates match the free online eviction timeline estimator rule for rule, and are labeled earliest under the statute.
  • Every state period comes from a statute or state court page checked November 2026; states not yet confirmed are left blank, not guessed.

What is inside

  • Eviction case file workbook (Excel). A rent ledger with charges, payments and a running balance, a case timeline that shows the earliest date of each stage from the state's stated periods, and an event log.
  • Start here. How to use the kit, why the dates are earliest under the statute, the states with confirmed periods and the help their court pages point to.
  • Court-day document checklist. Lease, ledger, notices, proof of service, photos and messages to bring, three copies each, with an exhibit list.
  • Rent ledger and payment history guide. How to record each charge and payment so a judge can check the balance, what payments after a notice can mean, and a printable ledger.
  • Case timeline log. Each stage with the state's stated period, the earliest date and the date the court set, plus an event log and contacts.

Will it open on a Mac, Google Sheets or my phone?
