Why it is different
- Written from the Attorney General's Notary Public Manual (revised October 2026) and HRS chapter 456.
- Groups the figures to memorize: a seal no more than 2 inches across, record books no larger than 11 by 16½ inches open, $5 and $2.50 fees.
- Notes where the exam is given: on Oahu at least monthly and periodically on the neighbor islands.

What do I get and how is it delivered?
The HI Notary Exam Prep comes as a zip with two documents, each as an editable Word file and a printable PDF: HI Notary Exam Study Guide and HI Notary Practice Questions and Answers. The download link arrives by email after payment.
Will it open on a Mac, Google Sheets or my phone?
The PDFs open in any PDF reader, including on a phone. To edit, open the Word files in Word, Google Docs or LibreOffice on a Mac or PC. If a file will not open or something looks wrong, reply to your order email and we will make it right.

How much is the Hawaii notary exam and where is it given?
$10 per attempt, and 80% passes. It's given on Oahu at least once a month and periodically on the neighbor islands. The Attorney General's pages don't state the number of questions or a time limit.
