Landlord Rent Roll and Property Income Workbook: Rent Due and Received, Delinquency, Vacancy and Property P&L in Excel
See what each unit owes and has paid, which leases end soon and what each property really earns after expenses.

Who it is for
Small landlords with one to twenty units, and bookkeepers who keep books for them.
Why it is different
- It shows months behind for every unit, so a late payer stands out at once.
- The as-of date is one cell you set, so reports are the same each time you open the file.
- A filled example for an invented landlord with three properties and eleven units, and a blank copy with working formulas.
What is inside
- Start Here. Purpose, which cells to fill in and what the workbook is not.
- Setup. Tax year, your as-of date, late-day grace, your properties, expense categories and the lease warning window.
- Units. Each unit with tenant, lease dates, rent, deposit and status, with days to lease end and an expiring-soon flag.
- Rent Roll. Rent due and received by unit for twelve months, with the balance owed, months behind and collection rate.
- Expenses. Costs by date, property and category.
- Property P&L. Rent collected, expenses by category and the result before mortgage principal and depreciation, by property.
- Vacancy and Delinquency. Vacant units, estimated lost rent and the units that owe the most.
- Deposits. Security deposits held by unit and in total.
- Lease Calendar. Leases listed in order of end date.
- Checks. Lease dates out of order, rent received but not due and unknown properties.
