Who it is for
Anyone filing or answering a small claims case on their own: tenants and landlords, customers owed a refund, freelancers and small businesses owed money.
Not the right fit if
Your claim is over your state's small claims limit, or you need legal advice or someone to represent you: talk to the court's self-help center or an attorney.
Why it is different
- Works in any state: you copy your state's limit and dates from its official page, linked from our free table.
- Examples cite state court self-help pages, dated November 2026.
- Word files to fill in, PDFs to print and an Excel workbook that totals your claim.
What is inside
- Demand letter template. A letter asking for payment before you file, labelled to adapt to your state's rules, with a response log.
- Evidence checklist. What to gather, how to label exhibits and how many copies to bring, with an exhibit list.
- Timeline worksheet. What happened in date order with the proof for each step, plus your state's key dates.
- Hearing prep script and notes. A two-minute script, answers to what the other side may say, and notes from the day.
- After-judgment collection log. Judgment details, payments received, collection steps and the paid-in-full checklist.
- Small claims case workbook (Excel). Damages calculator against your state's limit, evidence log, deadlines with days left, and an expense log.

Will it open on a Mac, Google Sheets or my phone?
The PDFs open in any PDF reader, and the Word files edit in Word, Google Docs or LibreOffice.
