Wyoming Notary Starter Kit: Education and 20-Question Exam, $60 Fee, Six-Year Term, Mandatory Journal and Remote Ink
Wyoming makes every notary pass a short exam and log every act, refusal and correction in a journal, but it does not require a bond. This kit follows the Secretary of State's application, revised January 2026, and the 2021 notary act.

Who it is for
Wyoming residents and people employed or practicing in Wyoming taking the education and exam, notaries renewing into a new six-year term and stamp, and notaries adding remote online or remote ink work.
Not the right fit if
You aren't applying in Wyoming: get your own state's kit. It doesn't replace the required education and exam.
Why it is different
- Uses the Secretary of State's January 2026 application.
- Explains which journal entries Wyoming expects, including refusals and corrections.
- Separates the $10 notarial fee from technology and mileage charges.
What is inside
- Education, exam and four-part application. 32-3-120 qualifications, the 20-question exam, the notarized Part IV oath, the $60 fee and the appointment letter.
- $10 cap, technology fee, journal and stamp. 32-3-126 fees, the 3-year ID rule, the required journal and the blue-or-black stamp layout.
- RON, RIN and the 32-3-123 notice. Notice before remote work, recordings in your sole possession, signers abroad and the advertising statement.
- Exam-to-stamp checklist. Education, exam, oath, filing, appointment letter and new stamp.
- Wyoming commission costs. The $60 fee filled in, with blanks for stamp, journal, optional bond or E&O, and platform.
- 32-3-118 journal pages. Columns for acts, refusals and corrections.
