For professionals
A remote online notary for families spread across states
Placement and care coordination often depend on a power of attorney, a consent form or an affidavit that a family member far away has to sign. Remote online notarization lets them sign on a video call.
Matthew Coleman, NJ Notary Public and NNA Certified Loan Signing Agent. Cranford, NJ. Fee confirmed before your session. Card charged only after it is complete. We aim to confirm within 15 minutes, 7am to 9pm.
Where it helps
A power of attorney signed by a daughter in California for a parent in New Jersey.
A parent in assisted living or at home who cannot travel to an office, with a family member or staff beside them on the call.
Paperwork that a facility or bank wants notarized before it will proceed.
Good to know
The signer must be able to understand the document and answer the notary's questions. A notary can decline a session if they have doubts about the signer's willingness or understanding. We do not give legal advice, so send the family to an elder law attorney for questions about the document itself.
How families book
The signer books a time, uploads the document, and receives identity steps before the session. Have a photo ID ready and make sure the camera and microphone work.

FAQ
Common questions
Can a person with dementia sign?
That depends on whether they understand the document and are signing willingly, which the notary has to judge in the session. The family should talk to an elder law attorney about capacity first.
Can a staff member sit beside the signer?
Usually yes, if the notary can confirm the signer is acting willingly. Tell us when you book.
