For professionals

A remote online notary for the clients you can't get into the room

When a signer is out of state, housebound or just can't take the afternoon off, the signing can happen over secure video. You keep your client and your timeline. We handle the notarization.

Matthew Coleman

Matthew Coleman, NJ Notary Public and NNA Certified Loan Signing Agent. Cranford, NJ. Fee confirmed before your session. Card charged only after it is complete. We aim to confirm within 15 minutes, 7am to 9pm.

Who sends us clients

Attorneys with estate planning, real estate and business clients who live somewhere else, or who can't travel.

Title and closing offices and real estate agents with a seller, buyer or heir out of state or abroad.

Senior-care and placement advisors whose families are spread across states and need a power of attorney or consent signed this week.

Financial planners, CPAs and insurance agents whose clients need an account form, beneficiary change or affidavit notarized.

How a session works

The signer books a time, uploads the document and gets an ID scan and identity questions before the session. At the appointment they meet the notary on secure two-way video, sign electronically, and the notary applies an electronic seal. The session is recorded and kept as the law requires.

The signer can be anywhere with a camera, a microphone and a steady connection. The notary is a commissioned New Jersey notary, physically in New Jersey.

Prefer to be on the call? You can join the session to walk your client through the document. We don't give legal advice, so the document itself stays between you and your client.

What to check first

Does the receiving office accept an electronic notarization? Most do, but acceptance is up to the lender, title underwriter, agency or institution. Ask before the session. If it needs paper with a physical stamp, remote ink-signed notarization may fit instead; see the RON page and the RIN vs RON comparison.

Is the document ready? Final, complete and unsigned. A notary can't fill in blanks, choose the form or say which certificate you need.

Does your client have valid photo ID? An unexpired government-issued photo ID is the one item that stops sessions most often.

Sending a client our way

Point them to the booking page, or have them call. Tell us the document type and who is receiving it so we can confirm the approach before the appointment. If you are sending more than the odd client, call and ask how we can make it easy on your office.

General information, not legal advice. The office or agency receiving a document decides what it accepts, so confirm with them first. Updated October 2026.

FAQ

Common questions

Can my client sign from out of state?

Yes. The signer can be anywhere. The notary has to be physically in New Jersey, and the receiving office has to accept an electronic notarization.

Who confirms the receiving office will accept it?

You or your client should ask the receiving office before the session. We also confirm the approach when you book, and we'll tell you if a document does not suit remote signing.

Can I watch the session?

Ask when you book. With your client's agreement, you can usually join to help them through the document.

Do you give legal advice or pick the document?

No. A notary can't advise on the document, fill in blanks or choose the certificate. That stays between you and your client.

What does it cost?

Prices are set by the desk and shown before you book, with no surprises on the day. See the booking page for current prices.
