Quick answer. Pick the state where your LLC was formed and the date it was formed. You'll see the name of the state's report, the next due dates, the fee for a domestic LLC and the official place to file. Rules vary a lot: for example, a New York LLC formed on March 10, 2025 files a $9 Biennial Statement by March 31, 2027 and every two years after that, while a Florida LLC files every year between January 1 and May 1.

How states set the due date
- One date for every LLC. 24 jurisdictions, such as Florida (May 1), North Carolina (April 15) and Pennsylvania (September 30).
- The month the LLC was formed. Due by the end of that month (CA, CO, ID, IN, NV, NJ, NY, VA, WA). Wyoming's falls on the first day of that month.
- The formation date itself. Louisiana, Massachusetts, Oregon and Utah.
- The calendar quarter. Hawaii and Wisconsin tie the report to the quarter that holds the anniversary.
- Every two years. Alaska, California, District of Columbia, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, New York. Alaska, Indiana, Kansas and New York count from the formation year; Nebraska and Iowa use odd-numbered years for every LLC.
A few states also expect a first filing soon after formation, such as California's initial Statement of Information within 90 days and Washington's Initial Report within 120 days. The calculator adds those when the formation date is recent.
What we checked, and what we couldn't
We read each state's rule on its own official site in November 2026. 38 of 51 are confirmed in full (report, due date and fee). For 10 more, one detail wasn't stated on a page we could open, and for 3 (Illinois, New Mexico, Ohio) the state's site couldn't be read at all. The result tells you which detail to check and where; we leave a figure out rather than guess.

Common questions
When is my LLC's annual report due?
It depends on the state that formed or registered the LLC. Some states use one date for every LLC (Florida's is May 1), some use the month the LLC was formed (New Jersey, Washington), and a few use the formation date itself (Massachusetts, Oregon). Pick your state above to see its rule and your next dates.
Does every state require an LLC annual report?
No. Among the states we could confirm, Arizona, Missouri, South Carolina don't require a recurring report from an LLC (South Carolina's answer depends on how the LLC is taxed). 8 jurisdictions require one every two years instead of every year. Check the table of all states for the rest.
My LLC is registered in two states. Which due dates apply?
Each state where the LLC is formed or registered to do business sets its own report and due date, so you may have two. Out-of-state (foreign) registrations sometimes follow different dates or fees than the ones shown here, which are for an LLC formed in that state. Enter each state separately and check the foreign LLC rules on that state's site.
What if a due date falls on a weekend or holiday?
This calculator shows the date as the state states it and doesn't move it. Some states accept the next business day and some don't, so file early or check the state's page.
What happens if I miss the annual report?
Most states charge a late fee and, after a period set by the state, dissolve the LLC or revoke its authority to do business. Getting it back usually means a reinstatement filing plus every missed report and fee. The result above shows the late rule where the state's page states one.
Is the annual report fee the same as a state tax?
Not always. Some states charge a small filing fee, while others collect an annual tax that's separate from or instead of a report, such as California's $800 LLC tax and Delaware's $400 annual LLC tax. Where a separate state amount was confirmed, the result lists it.
