A mobile notary for a signing in another state

A parent in Ohio who needs a power of attorney signed, a seller in Florida with a deed, a relative in a care home in Texas: send the details and we find a notary commissioned in that state to go to them.

Send a request

How it works

  1. Tell us where and what. The state, ZIP code and address of the signing, what needs to be notarized and how many people sign.
  2. We find a notary there. Only a notary commissioned in the state where the signing happens can do it. We offer the job to one whose travel area covers the address.
  3. You get the price first. The price is quote-based outside New Jersey. You see it, and approve it, before any work starts.
  4. The visit is confirmed once a notary accepts. We email you when a notary is assigned. Until then the request is not confirmed.

Price: quote-based outside New Jersey. We confirm the price before any work starts. In New Jersey? Book a New Jersey appointment on the calendar instead.

Before you send

  • We confirm the price, and the notary, before any work starts. Your visit isn't confirmed until a notary is assigned.
  • Every signer needs a current government photo ID.
  • Don't sign the documents before the notary is there.
  • The notary can't give legal advice or tell you what to write in a document.

Questions

Do you have notaries in every state?

We take requests from all 50 states and DC. When no notary on our team covers the address yet, the owner finds one by hand, and you hear from us before anything is confirmed. We can't promise a time until a notary accepts.

Why can't a New Jersey notary do it?

A notary's commission covers acts performed in the state that issued it. An in-person signing in another state needs a notary commissioned there.

Is the signing in New Jersey?

Then book it on our calendar instead. New Jersey visits are scheduled and priced online at the booking page.

Can the notary tell me what to write or which form to use?

No. Notaries can't give legal advice. Ask the person or office that prepared or will receive the document.
