Websites for notaries · Pennsylvania
A website for Pennsylvania notaries that follows Pennsylvania's rules
Clear fees, the right notices, and a booking form, from $599.
Your fees, stated the way Pennsylvania allows
Pennsylvania caps notary fees by regulation (4 Pa. Code §167.3): $5 for an acknowledgment for the first person and $2 for each extra name, $5 for an oath, verification or copy certification. The Department of State has proposed raising most of these, so we keep your fee page easy to update.
Clerical and travel fees are allowed if they're customary and reasonable, disclosed before the notarization, and itemized separately on the receipt and in the journal.
If you charge fees, you must post them or give them to anyone who asks, so your site's fee page does double duty.
Advertising rules your site follows
A non-attorney notary's ads must carry the notice "I am not an attorney licensed to practice law in this Commonwealth..." in every language the ad uses, online included (57 Pa.C.S. §325). "Notario" is not allowed. If you serve customers in Spanish or another language, we add the notice to every page in that language.
Remote online notarization
Remote notarization is permanent under Act 97 of 2020, with up to $20 more per electronic or remote act.
