For law firms
Notarizations and courthouse errands for your firm, billed once a month
Remote sessions for clients who can't come in, a notary at the bedside or the kitchen table when someone has to be in the room, and the filing, recording and apostille runs that still need a person. Your matter number on every line.
Matthew Coleman, NJ Notary Public and NNA Certified Loan Signing Agent. Cranford, NJ. Fee confirmed before your session. Card charged only after it is complete. We aim to confirm within 15 minutes, 7am to 9pm.
Remote by default
Most of what a firm needs notarized can be done over secure video: affidavits, certifications, powers of attorney, estate administration papers for an heir in another state. Your client books a time, uploads the final unsigned document, passes an ID check before the session and signs electronically while a New Jersey notary watches on camera. The session is recorded and the act goes into the notary's journal, as New Jersey's remote notarization law (N.J.S.A. 52:7-10.10) and the Notary Public Manual require.
- Session hours: every day, 7 AM to 9 PM, Eastern time, weekends included.
- Same day: a session can be booked as little as 60 minutes ahead when a slot is open.
- An attorney from your office can join with the client's agreement, to walk them through the paperwork. The notary handles identity, willingness and the notarial certificate, nothing more.
- Acceptance first: the court, agency or institution receiving the document decides whether it takes an electronic notarization. Check before you book. For paper-only recipients, see remote ink-signed notarization.
Remote sessions start at $40 (per session, online, no travel). Details on how a remote session works; client-facing explainers for attorneys are at remote notarization for attorneys.
In person when someone has to be in the room
Some signings shouldn't happen on a screen. We send a commissioned notary to the client when:
Wills and estate signings
Your office runs the execution; we notarize the self-proving affidavit or other papers you put in front of us and arrange witnesses when you ask. See the estate signing package and witness services.
Starting at $75, plus state notarial fees
Hospital and care facility
Bedside visits at hospitals, rehab centers, assisted living and nursing homes, including evenings. The notary checks ID and willingness and stops if the signer plainly can't take part. Hospital visits.
Starting at $125, plus state notarial fees
Elderly or unsteady signers
A client who can't manage a camera, an upload or identity questions usually does better face to face, at home or at your office, with a family member nearby if that helps.
Starting at $75, plus state notarial fees
In-person visits are scheduled Monday to Friday 8 AM to 8 PM; Saturday 9 AM to 5 PM, booked at least 3 hours ahead. Early, evening and weekend visits can carry an after-hours or weekend fee, which is shown on the quote before you confirm. The state caps the fee for each notarial act; travel and service fees are separate (N.J.A.C. 17:50-1.18).
Courthouse, county and state errands
Court filing
Papers filed at the clerk's window in person, with a scan of the stamped copy sent the day it's filed. Printing two sets, filing at the clerk's window and a scan of the stamped copy. Filing windows by county.
$175 set price, plus the court fee at cost
Apostilles
Documents notarized and taken through the apostille process for use abroad. Apostille services and apostilles after a remote notarization.
Starting at $125, per document, plus state fees
Document recording
Deeds, mortgages, releases and other originals taken to the county clerk, with the recorded copy or recording details returned. Recording.
Starting at $50, per document, plus county fees
Records retrieval
Recorded documents and court file copies pulled and scanned to you; agency copy and certification fees are billed at cost. Records retrieval.
Starting at $65, per record, plus agency fees
Sending us a signing
- Pick the route. A remote session through the booking page, an in-person visit, or, for filings and records, the request form on each service page. Firms with an account place everything from the client portal.
- Send the document final and unsigned, with the signer's name and phone, who will receive the document, and your file or matter number so it lands on the invoice.
- Tell us what the signer has for ID and whether witnesses are needed. We flag problems before the appointment instead of at it.
- We confirm the time with the signer and you can follow the job's status in the portal.
- The finished work comes back to you: the notarized document, the stamped filing copy or the recorded instrument, attached to the job.
How billing works for a firm account
Open an account once and stop paying job by job. Completed appointments are gathered onto one invoice for the firm; each line carries our reference, your file or matter number, the date and the signer's name. Filing, recording and records requests placed through the portal are invoiced to the same account with your matter number on the line.
- Terms: due 30 days from the invoice date unless your account was approved on other terms. Overdue business invoices can carry a 1.5% monthly late fee.
- Paying: each invoice is emailed with a secure payment link that takes a card or an ACH bank debit. Every invoice also sits in the portal's Invoices tab.
- Pass-through fees: court, county recording and agency fees appear on their own lines at cost.
- Firm rates: the prices on this page are starting points. Ask for a firm rate if you send regular volume.
What we don't do
- We don't draft documents, pick the form or the notarial certificate, or fill in blanks.
- We don't explain what a document means or give legal advice. Questions about the document go back to your office.
- We don't judge capacity. A notary confirms identity and willingness and declines when a signer clearly can't take part.
- We don't file on eCourts for you or appear in court.

FAQ
Questions from firms
Is remote online notarization the default for your firm's matters?
It is where the receiving party accepts an electronic notarization. Your client joins a recorded video session from wherever they are, and sessions run every day, 7 AM to 9 PM Eastern time. When a document needs wet ink or someone physically present, we send a notary instead.
What does it cost to have papers filed at the courthouse?
Filing papers in person is a set $175, and the court's own filing fee is added at cost on a separate line. Same-day filing is offered when the papers reach us by 10 AM, for an added fee shown on the request form.
Can the notary act as a witness to a will or explain what the client is signing?
We can bring or arrange witnesses when your office asks for them. We do not explain documents, choose certificates or give legal advice; how a will or trust is executed is your office's decision.
Can a client in a hospital or nursing home be seen?
Yes. Send the facility, room and the signer's ID situation. The notary confirms identity and that the signer is acting willingly; capacity is a question for the attorney and the medical team, not the notary.
How are we billed?
Through a firm account. Completed work is invoiced to the account with your file or matter number on each line, and invoices are due 30 days from the invoice date unless your account was approved on other terms. The invoice email has a link to pay by card or ACH bank debit.
Do we need an account to send one job?
No. A single filing or signing can be sent through the public request and booking forms. An account is for firms that send work regularly and want it billed together.
Do you give legal advice or prepare documents?
No. We are not a law firm. We notarize, file, record and retrieve documents your office prepares.
